Clamps, Stops, V-Blocks, Squares and Setup Gear for Fixture Tables

At TEC Products Ltd, we stock a full range of welding table fixtures and accessories designed to fit the standard 16mm hole pattern used across modern fixture tables. From workholding clamps and edge stops through to riser blocks, fixture squares and magnetic torch holders, this is the setup gear that turns a fixture table into a repeatable, accurate fabrication workstation.

If you're setting up a new welding table or expanding an existing setup, the fixtures on this page are the parts that make the table work for the job in front of you.

    What Welding Table Fixtures Do

Welding table fixtures hold, position, align and support workpieces during setup, tack welding and final welding. They fit into the hole pattern of a fixture table, giving you an established coordinate system you can build a jig around. That means fewer measurements, less rework, and consistent geometry from one weldment to the next.

Alignment gear sets exact angles, clamps hold parts in place during welding, and support gear repositions the working plane so you can access joints from the right angle. All three work together to turn a fixture table into a repeatable workstation.

    What's in the Range

We've grouped the range into functional categories to make it easier to find what you need.

    • Clamps and workholding: T-handle, ratchet, toggle, quick lever, telescopic, inserta, T-post and side clamps for 16mm hole tables, plus locking pliers with inserta bases for hands-free clamping.
    • Stops and locating fixtures: Edge stops, fixture stops, adjustable lockdown bolts and quick locking bolts for repeatable workpiece coordinates.
    • Squares, angles and V-blocks: Precision-machined right angle brackets (90°), V-blocks (90° and 120°), fixture squares and multi-piece square packs for angular setups on butt welds, fillet welds and mitred joints.
    • Riser blocks and elevation gear: 4-side and 5-side riser blocks (100mm, 200mm and 300mm), fixture cube blocks and upright stand supports to raise workpieces or extend the working plane vertically.
    • Magnetic accessories: Magnetic MIG and TIG torch holders, mini angle magnet squares (30°/45°/60°/90°), magnetic angle grinder holders and wrist rests for reduced fatigue on longer jobs.
    • Table maintenance and workshop extras: Hole cleaning brushes for 16mm holes, side storage bins for 8mm and 10mm tables, pipe pliers, wall-mounted gas bottle holders and multi-angle fixtures.

    Compatibility

Almost everything in the range is designed for the standard 16mm hole pattern used on most modern fixture tables, including our own welding tables. Some accessories (particularly storage bins) are available in 8mm and 10mm variants to match lighter-duty tables. Check the product spec against your table's hole size before ordering, or call us on 01845 202989 if you're not sure.

    We Also Offer

    • Welding tables including TP Welding Tables in light duty, standard duty and heavy duty options, self-fabricated and pre-fabricated, with 16mm hole patterns to fit the fixtures on this page
    • Metalworking clamps for general workshop clamping outside the fixture table setup
    • Welding magnets for angle setup and light workholding away from the fixture table

    Frequently Asked Questions

What size hole do welding table fixtures fit?

Most fixtures on this page are built for the standard 16mm hole pattern used across modern fixture tables. This is the most common size across the industry and is the pattern used on our TP welding tables. Some accessories are also available in 8mm and 10mm to match lighter-duty tables. Always check the product spec against your table's hole size before ordering.

Do I need a full set of fixtures or can I start with a few?

You can start small. Most fabricators build up a fixture set gradually based on the work coming across the table. A basic starter set is usually a pair of T-handle clamps, two precision right angle brackets or squares, and a set of edge stops. Add V-blocks, riser blocks and specialist clamps as the work demands.

What is the difference between a clamp and a stop?

A clamp presses a workpiece down onto the table or against a locator, holding it in position through active pressure. A stop is a fixed reference point that a workpiece sits against, giving you a repeatable coordinate to set parts to. In a typical setup, stops locate the workpiece and clamps hold it there.

Can I use these fixtures on any welding table?

Only if the table has the correct hole pattern. The fixtures on this page are designed for 16mm hole tables (with some 8mm and 10mm options). Fixtures from one hole size won't fit a table with a different size, so match the fixture to your table before ordering.

What are the essential welding table accessories?

The core welding table accessories most fabricators build around are clamps, stops, squares and V-blocks. Clamps hold parts in position, stops give repeatable coordinates for locating workpieces, and squares and V-blocks set exact angles for butt welds, fillet welds and mitred joints. Beyond the essentials, riser blocks extend the working plane vertically, magnetic torch holders and grinder holders reduce fatigue between passes, and hole cleaning brushes keep the table pattern clear of spatter. Start with the essentials that match your regular work, then add specialist accessories as jobs demand.
