These spare inner lenses are ideal for replacing the inner lens on the Lincoln 2450 or 3350 welding helmets, this should be done if the lens is damaged through spatter, debris or other environmental factors. These are durable polycarbonate lenses which are impact resistant and allow for clear visibility throughout the welding process.
These helmet lenses are an essential spare to have to hand if you regularly use your Lincoln Viking helmet, these hard wearing, scratch resistant lenses come in a pack of five so you can replace as and when required. Top tip don't put your welding helmet face down on the bench- try hanging it up or get into the habit of putting it down face up. If your lens does get scratched then this pack of 5 is ideal to replace them.
The inner lenses are less likely to have as much consumable turnover as the outer lenses as they are less vulnerable to spatter and scratches- this is assuming it is regularly cleaned and protected. At the very least the inner lens should be replaced after any damage, you should never weld without the inner or outer lenses attached properly to your helmet as they protect the automatic darkening filter from any damage, sweat or dust particles.
The outer lenses are useful to have to hand, you are likely to use a lot of these due to hazards while welding such as spatter and scratches. We stock packs of 5 here.
How to fit your replacement lenses:
Similar to the outside lens the inner lens can be replaced quickly and efficiently, remove the inner lens, do this carefully to not get fingerprints or dirt and dust on the glass assembly. You may wish to wear gloves for this. Remove the protective film on the clear lens and you are ready to fit your replacement lens in place of the damaged lens. You should not need to remove the glass assembly but if you are doing both inner and outer lenses it would be more efficient to do them at the same time.
