Jasic EVO ARC 160 Inverter Welding Machine
The Jasic EVO ARC 160 PFC (EA-160) is basically the beefed-up version of the wildly popular Jasic PRO Arc series. It's got a big new display that you can actually read from across the room, plus a tougher shell that looks pretty mean too.
These EVO ARC machines come with PFC built in, which helps save on energy costs. They're also smart enough to work out what voltage you've got—plug them into either 110V or 230V, and they'll even run off generators. What's really handy is they'll handle anything from 96V right up to 265V, so you can use long extension leads without worrying about voltage drop causing problems.
The ClearVision screen is a nice touch—it's a high-def LED display angled so you can see it properly without straining your neck. Despite all these features, the machine's surprisingly light and easy to move around. You can flip between MMA mode and Smart Lift TIG mode with just one button. Comes with a solid protective case and MMA lead included.

Voltage Reduction Device
When you're using MMA (Stick) mode, the VRD drops the open-circuit voltage to keep things safer.
So basically, when your machine's running but you're not actually welding—say you've just burned through an electrode and need to swap in a fresh one—the VRD automatically brings the voltage down to a much safer level (around 13V or so).
