Surface Conditioning (SCM) Tube Finishing Belts - Packs of 10 Applications:  Surface conditioning material gives a high level of consistency in applying brushed or satin finishes to stainless steel as well as other metals. They are thus popular as the end process in finishing systems where a efficiency and consistency are important. They will remove blemishes and surface discolouration. Providing they are not excessively used to remove burrs, they will give a long service life. Typically, a coarse grade can be used after a 120 grade zirconium to give hand rails a brushed finish with suitable grip. The grades are based on Coarse (approx. 150-180 DP1 finish), Medium (approx. 220-240 finish) and Very Fine (approx. 320-360 finish). Specification: Made with non-woven abrasive material. Cibo Rubber Bonded Graining Blocks (FORU)

Applications:  For hand graining stainless steel and aluminium. Removes oxides and repairs minor damage and scratches. Convenient where it can be difficult to apply wheels. As a hand use product, the finish will be much finer than you might expect from a machined finish. Typically, a grade 60 for example, will give the equivalent of around a 320 brushed finish, with a light touch. Specification: Rubber bonded abrasive. Approx size 80x50x20mm. Use felt and flannel to achieve fine finishes including mirror polishing stainless steel, in conjunction with a suitable polishing compound such as PV102 (pink).  Specification: Cotton-rich felt or flannel.
