Finipower Stainless Steel Fabricator Kit 230V This kit has all the products needed to begin stainless steel fabrication work, the variable speed grinder allows you to achieve a flawless high quality finish. Cibo Rebel One Unitised Metal Polishing Discs (SAG Range) 4.5(115mm) & 5"(125mm)

Applications: These unitised discs are mounted on a backing disc for directly fitting onto the flanges of angle grinders (preferably variable speed) and metal polishers. Unitised material is re-processed non-woven abrasive. By varying the hardness, formulation and abrasive mix different performance characteristics are achieved.  At their softest, FAG 4 discs are ideal for stripping paint and coatings due to their conformity. They also work well on aluminium, leaving a better finish than may be obtained with a conventional stripping disc. SAG grades 5 & 7 are ideal for surface improvement and are often known as pre-polishing discs. Use grade 5 for polishing and grade 7 where a little more aggression is required, such as in blending ground off TIG welds. MAG discs are more aggressive still and will leave light swirl marks. The grade MAG5 is also great on aluminium and brass, with low clogging properties. MAG will grind off small amounts of metal, leaving a fine swirl finish. They are also useful for finishing angles, improving rough surfaces and refining coarse grinding lines. They are most effective on metal polishers, set at around 6,000rpm, but they can also be used on full speed angle grinders. Typically, a coarse grade can be used after a 120 grade zirconium to give hand rails a brushed finish with suitable grip. Trizact 237 Tube Polishing Belts - Packs of 10 Applications:  Trizact 237 can help to get to fine finishes on stainless steel (and other metal) tube quickly. Its stock removal rate is excellent for any given grade, so some traditional sanding stages can be skipped and a polish achieved faster. Trizact is a synthetic abrasive consisting of fine pyramid shaped grain in alignment. As it breaks down with use, it retains a similar shaped grain structure, hence giving a high degree of consistency of finish from first piece to last. These belts can be used as part of a system to refine the tube surface towards a mirror finish, achieving a grade equivalent to P2000 with grade A6. Ceramic grain is both exceptionally hard and sharp, which gives it a faster cutting performance as well as longer life. It is thus ideal for most steels, especially stainless. Backing Pad For Trizact & Cermaic Grip Sanding Disc Applications:  Cibo Abrasives have developed and refined systems of abrasive discs to apply professional finishes to stainless steel quickly and efficiently. These 'VEL' backing pads have been chosen for the Trizact and Ceramic discs as they help to keep a flat finish and to get the best life out of the discs. The 75mm size is useful in its own right, but will also enable you use the centre press-outs from these discs. The inter-liner is recommended for use between the backing pad and disc. This helps keep the disc flat and cooler.   Specification: Sizes to suit Cibo Trizact discs, 75mm, 115mm and 125mm. M14 fixing to suit most metal polishers and variable speed grinders. 75mm size suits push-out centre available on 115mm and 125mm Trizact discs. Hook grip base. Cibo Combination Flap PTX Brush Wheel With 19mm Keyway (FMCA) 60,80,180Grit

Applications:  Combination flap wheels have alternate flaps of coated and non-woven abrasive. The coated abrasive flaps give a little extra aggression to remove scratches, blemishes and even light coatings. They will re-grain leaving a brushed or satin finish, depending on the chosen grade. These wheels fit any metal burnisher machine with a 19mm keywayed shaft, such as Finimaster Basic, PTX, EDX, Fein and similar machines. The grade 60 ceramic wheel has much greater cutting ability and can remove mill-scale and harder coatings. Specification: Combination of non-woven and coated abrasive flaps. Aluminium oxide (standard) or grade 60 ceramic abrasive. Suits 19mm keyway shaft. Choice of 50mm or 100mm widths. Max 5,700rpm. (Use lower speeds for fine finishes.)

Cibo Rubber Bonded Graining Blocks (FORU)

Applications:  For hand graining stainless steel and aluminium. Removes oxides and repairs minor damage and scratches. Convenient where it can be difficult to apply wheels. As a hand use product, the finish will be much finer than you might expect from a machined finish. Typically, a grade 60 for example, will give the equivalent of around a 320 brushed finish, with a light touch. Specification: Rubber bonded abrasive. Approx size 80x50x20mm. Applications:  These spray foams are specialist products for cleaning and protecting metal. Inoxiclean Foamic is for cleaning and de-greasing. It particularly suitable for polished metal and will help restore the shine.  Apply with soft clean cloths, such as flannel or micro-fibre. Specifications:  Supplied in ready to use spray cans. Can size: 400ml. Effective on most metals, especially polished stainless steel.

Applications:  Vienna chalk has excellent grease absorption characteristics. Use it on a clean dry cloth to remove residual grease from polishing and leave a bright shine. Specification: Supplied in 300g tubs. White powder. For use on dry, soft cloth.

Cibo Metal Polishing & Cleaning Compound Bars

Applications:  Our polishing compounds are in different grades from a fairly coarse PV569 for removing scratches up to a fine mirror finishing polish (PV102). They can be used individually to achieve a preferred finish, or as in part of a system, for example to improve stainless sheet to a mirror finish. They are used on carrier products, such as polishing mops, felt discs and polishing wheels. It is suggested that you keep a separate wheel or disc for each type of polish. This would avoid contaminating final stage work with residual coarser polish. De-greasing is made easier with Vienna Chalk. Specification: Supplied in bars of approx 1kg. PV101 (green) gives a milky bright appearance on stainless steel. It is usually followed by PV102 (pink) as part of a mirror finishing process. PV102 (pink) is ultra-fine and best used on felt or cotton for mirror finishing. PV05 (off-white) is a good bright finishing polish on most materials including aluminium and plastic.  PV569 (black) is a more aggressive polish for scratch removal and surface cleaning. It can be used on sisal mops for greater cutting.

Surface conditioning material (SCM) is based on non-woven abrasive fleece and gives a more controlled and consistent sanding action than coated abrasive discs. They are capable of operating on fixed speed angle grinders, but life and performance are much improved if used on variable speed grinders, polishers or rotary sanders. Specification: Uses flaps of non-woven abrasive fleece needled to a backing scrim for durability. Cooler running and more consistent finish than coated abrasives. Cibo Trizact Grip Polishing Disc 5"(125mm) + 3"(75mm Inner)

Applications: These discs are made with 3M Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive laminated to a grip backing. In this form they are part of a process to rapidly blend TIG welds and improve stainless steel surfaces most of the way to a polish, in fewer stages than would be required with conventional abrasives. Trizact's uniform grain structure improves consistency on batches so that the first and last components finished have a high level of consistency.    In order to give maximum disc life, the disc centres will press-out for re-use on 75mm backing pads. Example: 115 + 75mm is a 115mm disc with 75mm press-out option. When outer edge is worn, the 75mm centre can be pressed out and re-used. Specification: Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive.
