Ceramic cups can be used to replace standard collet heads and improve the spread of gas when welding stainless steel, titanium or nickel-chromium. This improves the shield around the weld pool. These Furick cups allow for precision gas coverage around your weld. The mesh in the cup reduces any potential turbulence and weld contamination. All of this means tighter precision welds and an easier line of vision as the tungsten can stick out further. What types of ceramic cup do Furick offer? We stock a wide range of shapes and sizes from Furick; these include the 'normal' collect body and range up to large gas lens collet bodies. These usually come in a 'porcine pink' colour but can also be white. What are the advantages of using ceramic cups? Durability is a key factor- in comparison to glass cups, the durability of ceramic cups is much higher - Ceramic cups have better crack resistance. The cost of ceramic cups is much less than glass cups; the reliability of the gas flow and less turbulence means they are worth the investment. The Furick Jazzy 10 Pyrex Cup Kit for 2.4mm includes 2 single Jazzy 10 Pyrex cups and comes equipped with a spare diffuser and 4 O-Rings. The Jazzy models are constructed with the identical original diffuser as the Fupa 12 but in a smaller and more condensed package. Less gas is used in favour for greater results on mild steel typically 20 -25 CFH using 3/32 tungsten sizes. The Jazzy 10 brand of Pyrex cups is of DC polarity and has an amperage rating of 175. Furick Mooseknuckle 14 Ceramic Cup Kit

Same great #14 as the glass version. This full ceramic model comes with and spare screen and this model threads on your 45V44 gas lens if you have a 9 or 20 torch. If you have a 17,18 or 26 torch you will need the adapter kit. This cup is recommended for DC only and 3/32 tungsten. It will give best results with 25-30 CFH of argon flow.

Furick Cup Mooseknuckle #14 Glass TIG Cup Kit

Furick Cup Mooseknuckle Pyrex 14 Kit The #14 cup (also known as the MooseKnuckle) carries an Issued US Patent on the Diffuser design and has an inside diameter of .750 inches/ 19mm. It is recommended for DC polarity applications only. It uses anywhere from 25-30 + CFH of Argon flow and is recommended for 3/32 / 2.4mm tungsten size. The cup has a 180amp rating on constant amperage. It can go higher if using pulse settings. Each kit comes complete with the pyrex cup, diffusers and o'rings for mounting straight onto a WP9/WP20 torch. They also fit WP17/18 and 26 torches but you will need to purchase the FURICK17 adapter kit for this to work.   Hand made in the USA of Borosilicate laboratory grade glass.   *** Due to the nature of the Glass “walking the Cup“ is not recommended. ***

Contained in this kit is the modified Stubby gas lens, insulator and collet as well as a selection of O-rings.  This kit does not include any cups, if you require these you will find them here. 

Furick Fupa 12 Ceramic KOKN Cup Kit Twin Pack

Furick Fupa 12 Ceramic Cup Kit The Fupa 12 Ceramic kit comes with two ceramic plans and a spare diffuser, these are designed to perform the same as the glass cups but be more durable. This kit is made to thread onto the 45V44 or the 17 conversion kit. This version only comes in a 2.4mm (3/32) tungsten size and does not require any o-rings.  This ceramic cup from Furick is made to handle up to 200 Amps non-continuance, it is recommended to only use this in DC applications. Please note that the diffuser mesh which comes with the cups are designed to only work with the Furick branded cups- it would be ideal to have a few of these to hand to replace when required. If you require more of these you can find them here please ensure you have selected the correct diffuser mesh.
