Finipower Stainless Steel Fabricator Kit 230V This kit has all the products needed to begin stainless steel fabrication work, the variable speed grinder allows you to achieve a flawless high quality finish. The fabrication kit includes the 230V Finipower Plus 1700 Watt variable speed grinder, it also includes a range of tools which fit on this model.  Weld removal is easy on stainless steel box section, use the 80 grit ceramic fibre discs, this leaves a nice finish which can easily be blended. Cibo Rebel One Unitised Metal Polishing Discs (SAG Range) 4.5(115mm) & 5"(125mm)

Applications: These unitised discs are mounted on a backing disc for directly fitting onto the flanges of angle grinders (preferably variable speed) and metal polishers. Unitised material is re-processed non-woven abrasive. By varying the hardness, formulation and abrasive mix different performance characteristics are achieved.  At their softest, FAG 4 discs are ideal for stripping paint and coatings due to their conformity. They also work well on aluminium, leaving a better finish than may be obtained with a conventional stripping disc. SAG grades 5 & 7 are ideal for surface improvement and are often known as pre-polishing discs. Use grade 5 for polishing and grade 7 where a little more aggression is required, such as in blending ground off TIG welds. MAG discs are more aggressive still and will leave light swirl marks. The grade MAG5 is also great on aluminium and brass, with low clogging properties. MAG will grind off small amounts of metal, leaving a fine swirl finish. Specification: Made with non-woven abrasive material blend. Mounted on a fibreglass backing plate with 22.2mm fixing. No backing pad required. Free from iron contamination - ideal for stainless steel. Advised speed: 4,000-5,000rpm. Max speed 115mm: 10,000rpm, 125mm:8,000rpm. For use on cool metal. 

Cibo 5"(125mm) Rapid Combi Flap Disc

Cibo 125mm(5") Rapid Combi Flap Disc Applications:  Designed and patented by Cibo Abrasives, specialists in stainless steel finishing products, Rapid Combi-Discs (RCDs) will remove a TIG weld and leave a fine brushed or satin finish in one operation. They are also useful for finishing angles, improving rough surfaces and refining coarse grinding lines. They are most effective on metal polishers, set at around 6,000rpm, but they can also be used on full speed angle grinders. They give much more controlled material removal than standard flap discs and low heat generation. Specification: Alternate layers of selected coated abrasives and non-woven surface conditioning material. Available in ultra-coarse (controlled grinding), coarse (brushed finish), medium and very fine (satin finish). Recommended speed: 6,000rpm. Max speed: 115mm 13,300rpm, 125mm 12,200rpm. Complete with backing plate - no backing pad required.

Cibo Trizact Grip Polishing Disc 5"(125mm) + 3"(75mm Inner)

Applications: These discs are made with 3M Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive laminated to a grip backing. In this form they are part of a process to rapidly blend TIG welds and improve stainless steel surfaces most of the way to a polish, in fewer stages than would be required with conventional abrasives. Trizact's uniform grain structure improves consistency on batches so that the first and last components finished have a high level of consistency.    In order to give maximum disc life, the disc centres will press-out for re-use on 75mm backing pads. Example: 115 + 75mm is a 115mm disc with 75mm press-out option. When outer edge is worn, the 75mm centre can be pressed out and re-used. Specification: Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive. Laminated to a loop grip (Velcro type) backing. For use with suitable backing pad. Inter-liner recommended for use on stainless flat. Centre press-out (choose +75mm) available for re-use (wear tends to be fastest around perimeter). Sold in packs of 10
