Cibo Rebel One Unitised Metal Polishing Discs (SAG Range) 4.5(115mm) & 5"(125mm)

Applications: These unitised discs are mounted on a backing disc for directly fitting onto the flanges of angle grinders (preferably variable speed) and metal polishers. Unitised material is re-processed non-woven abrasive. By varying the hardness, formulation and abrasive mix different performance characteristics are achieved.  At their softest, FAG 4 discs are ideal for stripping paint and coatings due to their conformity. They also work well on aluminium, leaving a better finish than may be obtained with a conventional stripping disc. SAG grades 5 & 7 are ideal for surface improvement and are often known as pre-polishing discs. Use grade 5 for polishing and grade 7 where a little more aggression is required, such as in blending ground off TIG welds. MAG discs are more aggressive still and will leave light swirl marks. The grade MAG5 is also great on aluminium and brass, with low clogging properties. MAG will grind off small amounts of metal, leaving a fine swirl finish. Specification: Made with non-woven abrasive material blend. Mounted on a fibreglass backing plate with 22.2mm fixing. No backing pad required. Applications:  These spray foams are specialist products for cleaning and protecting metal. Inoxiclean Foamic is for cleaning and de-greasing. It particularly suitable for polished metal and will help restore the shine.  Apply with soft clean cloths, such as flannel or micro-fibre. Specifications:  Supplied in ready to use spray cans. Can size: 400ml. Effective on most metals, especially polished stainless steel.  

Cibo Metal Polishing & Cleaning Compound Bars

Applications:  Our polishing compounds are in different grades from a fairly coarse PV569 for removing scratches up to a fine mirror finishing polish (PV102). They can be used individually to achieve a preferred finish, or as in part of a system, for example to improve stainless sheet to a mirror finish. They are used on carrier products, such as polishing mops, felt discs and polishing wheels. It is suggested that you keep a separate wheel or disc for each type of polish. This would avoid contaminating final stage work with residual coarser polish. De-greasing is made easier with Vienna Chalk. Specification: Supplied in bars of approx 1kg. PV101 (green) gives a milky bright appearance on stainless steel. It is usually followed by PV102 (pink) as part of a mirror finishing process. PV102 (pink) is ultra-fine and best used on felt or cotton for mirror finishing. PV05 (off-white) is a good bright finishing polish on most materials including aluminium and plastic.  PV569 (black) is a more aggressive polish for scratch removal and surface cleaning. It can be used on sisal mops for greater cutting.

Applications:  These discs are made with soft density felt mounted on a backing plate for use on variable speed grinders and polishers. They are for carrying suitable polishing compounds. It is suggested that you keep a separate disc for each polish grade to avoid cross-contamination. Specification: Soft felt on fibreglass backing. Approx 7mm thickness giving long life. We stock them with a 10mm centring hole to fit the DVS type SCM backing pads that we stock, in addition to standard backing pads. Cibo Trizact Grip Polishing Disc 5"(125mm) + 3"(75mm Inner)

Applications: These discs are made with 3M Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive laminated to a grip backing. In this form they are part of a process to rapidly blend TIG welds and improve stainless steel surfaces most of the way to a polish, in fewer stages than would be required with conventional abrasives. Trizact's uniform grain structure improves consistency on batches so that the first and last components finished have a high level of consistency.    In order to give maximum disc life, the disc centres will press-out for re-use on 75mm backing pads. Example: 115 + 75mm is a 115mm disc with 75mm press-out option. When outer edge is worn, the 75mm centre can be pressed out and re-used. Specification: Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive. Laminated to a loop grip (Velcro type) backing. For use with suitable backing pad. Inter-liner recommended for use on stainless flat.
