Cibo Felt Polishing Discs Grip Backed Applications:  These discs are for polishing metal, plastics, lacquer coatings etc, in conjunction with suitable polishing compounds. They are grip backed and can be used either on standard grip backing pads or on deeper hook pads used for surface conditioning discs. We stock them with a 10mm centring hole to fit the DVS type SCM backing pads that we stock, in addition to standard backing pads. It is suggested that separate discs are used for different grades of polish to avoid cross-contamination. Specification:  Firm grade felt on grip backing. 5mm felt depth for long life. Cibo Trizact Grip Polishing Disc 5"(125mm) + 3"(75mm Inner)

Applications: These discs are made with 3M Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive laminated to a grip backing. In this form they are part of a process to rapidly blend TIG welds and improve stainless steel surfaces most of the way to a polish, in fewer stages than would be required with conventional abrasives. Trizact's uniform grain structure improves consistency on batches so that the first and last components finished have a high level of consistency.    In order to give maximum disc life, the disc centres will press-out for re-use on 75mm backing pads. Example: 115 + 75mm is a 115mm disc with 75mm press-out option. When outer edge is worn, the 75mm centre can be pressed out and re-used. Specification: Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive. Laminated to a loop grip (Velcro type) backing. For use with suitable backing pad. Inter-liner recommended for use on stainless flat.
