WELD AID LUBE-MATIC BLACK LUBE PADS FOR STEEL MIG WIRE A pack of 6 Black Lube-Matic pads for cleaning MIG wire whilst it feeds through your machine!  These cleaning pads are easy to install and help to ensure smooth wire feeding of steel wires, with the added bonus of increasing contact tip and liner life by as much as 300%. Ideal when using a long MIG torch to ensure the wire travels through the long liner, with decreased friction.  The benefits don’t stop there…  Smoother wire feeding also decreases spatter for cleaner welds and less post weld clean up. The dense foam pad works by allowing the MIG wire to pass through it, removing surface contaminants.  Whilst passing through the black lube-matic pad, the MIG wire is also coated in a lubricant which assists the smooth feeding of the wire through the liner and contact tip.  To install, simply place the pad around the MIG wire where it goes into the inlet guide.  A metal collar squeezes onto the foam to ensure that the pad makes good contact with the wire.   PLEASE NOTE:  The black lube-matic pads are not suitable for use with Aluminium MIG wire (Use the red pads instead).  For best results with steel wire, use the red pad for optimum cleaning, followed by these black pads for further cleaning and lubrication.

WELD AID LUBE-MATIC WIRE KLEENER AND LUBRICANT A metal container of lube-matic wire kleener and lubricant (Approx 120ml).  This solution is used to re-lubricate the lube-matic black pads, which, when used helps to feed all mild steel, fabricated and core wires.  The lube-matic solution cuts rust and reduces wire drag by up to 60% to ensure smooth wire feeding through the MIG torch liner and contact tip.   PLEASE NOTE:  The black lube-matic pads are not suitable for use with Aluminium MIG wire (Red pads required for this).  For best results with steel wire, use the red pad for optimum cleaning, followed by these black pads for further cleaning and lubrication.  Pads are available separately
