Surface Conditioning (SCM) Tube Finishing Belts - Packs of 10 Applications:  Surface conditioning material gives a high level of consistency in applying brushed or satin finishes to stainless steel as well as other metals. They are thus popular as the end process in finishing systems where a efficiency and consistency are important. They will remove blemishes and surface discolouration. Providing they are not excessively used to remove burrs, they will give a long service life. Typically, a coarse grade can be used after a 120 grade zirconium to give hand rails a brushed finish with suitable grip. The grades are based on Coarse (approx. 150-180 DP1 finish), Medium (approx. 220-240 finish) and Very Fine (approx. 320-360 finish). Specification: Made with non-woven abrasive material. Trizact 237 Tube Polishing Belts - Packs of 10 Applications:  Trizact 237 can help to get to fine finishes on stainless steel (and other metal) tube quickly. Its stock removal rate is excellent for any given grade, so some traditional sanding stages can be skipped and a polish achieved faster. Trizact is a synthetic abrasive consisting of fine pyramid shaped grain in alignment. As it breaks down with use, it retains a similar shaped grain structure, hence giving a high degree of consistency of finish from first piece to last. These belts can be used as part of a system to refine the tube surface towards a mirror finish, achieving a grade equivalent to P2000 with grade A6. Suitable for stainless steel, copper, bronze, aluminium and many composites. Not suitable for titanium. Specification: Made with Trizact 237 synthetic abrasive. X-Weight flexible cotton backing. Performance Tube Sanding Belts - Packs of 10 Applications:  Ceramic abrasive cloth, once only available in coarse grades, is now available right up to grade 400 and is used by Cibo to make superior tube sanding belts that far out-perform both zirconium and aluminium oxide alternatives. Ceramic grain is both exceptionally hard and sharp, which gives it a faster cutting performance as well as longer life. It is thus ideal for most steels, especially stainless. A coating of grinding aids result in cooler running and minimal loading up.  For weld removal, where you might have previously chosen grade 40 zirconium belts, we suggest ceramic grade 60, which will remove metal just as fast, but leave a much finer finish, reducing later work stages.  The belt sizes given suit most popular tube polishers including Finitube (675x40mm), Metabo RBE 12 (760x40mm), EDX E20 (760x40), Fein RS12 (820x40mm) and others.  Specification: Ceramic abrasive grain.
