Excellent Weldability
Easy Slag Removel
Crack Resistant
Excellent For Joining and Repairing of Grey Cast Iron

Description Super Cast Ultima is a Nickel electrode for welding of grey cast iron, malleable iron, cast iron and for welding on fatigued cast parts. For rectification of castings. Super Cast ultima gives perfect welding results even at low amperage's. The arc is smooth and intensive, with low spatter, easy removal of slag. The weld is soft machinable, also in the fusion zone. Typical weld metal Chemical composition (%)

Welding guide. Clean welding area carefully and remove cast skin from base material. Low heat input during welding is required. On thicker material preheating up 150°C is recommended. Weld bead width is not to be lager than twice of electrode diameter, maximum length 10 times diameter,in a single pass. To reduce the tension the weld should be penned just after welding. Allow the work piece to cool slowly on completion of welding. Weld deposits are fully machinable.
